As it was in 1925 when the telephone building was opened as an icon of modern communication, it’s 140’s goal to be the smartest office building in San Francisco.
Network Infrastructure: Each tenant floor will have a dedicated telephone-data room with a grounding backbone, sleeves and pathways to the main point of building entry (MPOE).
From the MPOE, tenants who need extra bandwidth can bring fiber directly to their floor. And the availability of copper, fiber and satellite provide tenants with choice and flexibility.
Tenant Mobility: 140 is designed to enhance the seamless blend of a 24-7 work life for both workers and employers. Wireless access in the new sculpture garden and lobby will allow for casual gatherings to become creative work sessions, while companies will be able to monitor space and utility systems remotely to keep operating costs down.
